Beatles Trivia: Beatles First US Performance
I am still reading “Ticket To Ride” book by Larry Kane.. Here are some trivia about their first US performance and others
- The Beatles first arrived in the US February of 1964
- National Flight 11 was the plane The Beatles were on during their arrival in the US.
- The Beatles first landed in New York, first ever in the US, on February 7, 1964
- February 9, 1964 – 2 days after their arrival was their first US TV appearance on the Ed Sullivan show – NY
- February 11, 1964 – Performance at the Washington DC.
- February 12, 1964 – New York, Carnegie Hall
- February 16, 1964 Miami in their hotel that they are staying – Deauville Hotel
- Their February 23 performance on the Ed Sullivan show was actually a tapped performance.
